This intensive 5-hour workshop offers you the chance to polish the burlesque moves you already know and to learn some more advanced techniques!

You will be taught a complete choreographed burlesque dance routine by special guest teacher Torie aka Lil’ Miss Chievous.

Burlesque expert Jo King will then teach you how to:

• Invent a persona/character to create a mood and a story.
• Use music and costumes to support story, character, and theme.
• Perfect the use of any prop of your choice to enhance your performance (please bring this with you).
• Perform a classic strip“tease” with scintillating style — including the removal of a dress, bra and stockings!
• Apply pasties and get your tassels twirling.

You will be shown how to formulate a routine, incorporating all of the above.  The day ends with an opportunity to further benefit from Jo King’s amazing 30 years experience in a question and answer session.

You will need to wear a shoulder strap dress that gives you ease of movement, a back-fastening bra, stockings (with a suspender belt) and easily removable shoes with a heel of some sort. Please note there is an element of nudity in this class as it is necessary to remove your bra to learn how to tassel twirl properly.
