Burlesque Dance Classes

Razzle Dazzle — Danceworks, W1

All levels — £10 members / £15 non-members

These classes are now being taught by our two fantastic new members of the LAOB faculty; Louise (Felixy Splits) and Jo (Bettsie Bon Bon).  They both perform with the Folly Mixtures burlesque troupe and were formerly, two of the original Hurly Burly Girlies.  

Louise and Jo will teach you fun and flirtatious choreographed routines, incorporating a variety of traditional and new style burlesque dance moves with the emphasis on sexy, showgirl glamour.  More tease than Dita!  Click here for more information.

 

Burlesque Buzz

Beginner’s Performance Art Course — £250

Start dates; Tuesday 7th September / Tuesday 5th October/Tuesday 2nd November.

This spectacular 4-week course has been specially designed by Jo King. Drawing from her thirty years of experience in the performance industry she has created this course for those of you who want to discover and explore the world of burlesque. Click here to find out more and how to book.

Bespoke Private Tuition — £300

Monday to Saturday between 11am and 7pm — Subject to availability

Whatever your reasons for taking this class, many of the “tricks of the trade” that you will learn are designed to give you more confidence, a better body image, some seriously sexy burlesque moves and a greater appreciation of your feminine powers. Burl-Exotique

Intermediate Performance Art Workshop — £150

Saturday 25th September from 2pm — 7pm

This intensive 5-hour workshop offers you the chance to polish the burlesque moves you already know and to learn some more advanced techniques such as a stocking peel and tassel twirling!  Click here to find out more.
