Hello again, I am Jo King, the founder of and principal teacher at the London Academy of Burlesque. I am totally aware of the most important factors to consider when you want to book a burlesque class or event. I know that the expertise, enthusiasm and personality of the teacher you have, will make all the difference to your experience!
I have been in this industry for over 30 years now and I am incredibly fussy about the people who represent my Academy and my positive, all-encompassing ethos. Therefore, I personally select and train all the London Academy of Burlesque teachers. They are taught to follow and uphold the codes that continue to see our methods mimicked but our passion and quality of service unequalled.
The women below have trained long and hard to become qualified to my stringent and ultimately professional London Academy of Burlesque standards.

Introducing…
Sachi Latina has been teaching for the London Academy of Burlesque since 2001. She teaches sensual and precise movement with passion and amazing expertise. She has a wonderful sense of fun which transfers well to her teaching. Sachi has been a professional dancer and singer since she was very young!
Another talented teacher is the very lovely Leela. Due to her training as a physical clown, she has amazing body awareness and is able to instruct her burlesque students in many enlightening ways. Leela also performs inventive comedic burlesque as Audacity Chutzpah.
Roz has a vibrant personality and exudes a contagious joy. She is a funtastic Party Pieces teacher. She teaches at many big corporate events and is known for her energy, enthusiasm and expertease. Roz is a trained actress and as Kiki Kaboom she is also an abundantly entertaining burlesque performer.
Lynsey aka Tallulah Tempest is a highly acclaimed dance teacher and holds the Associate teaching certificate from the National Association of Teachers of Dancing. Lynsey has danced professionally for over 20 years and as Tallulah she apears in cabaret clubs all over London.
Jo aka Bettsie Bon Bon teaches fun, flirtatious and very sexy burlesque dance routines. She has been performing for over 4 years.
