Star Turn

Private tuition designed for your personal abilities and requirements, so that after just one class you will have the fundamental skills with which you can perform your own, unique routine. There are many elements you can choose from, for example; traditional burlesque moves, a choreographed burlesque dance, a classic striptease, stocking-peel, tassel twirling, chair-work or floor-work.  There is also a variety of props you can learn to use e.g. gloves and boa, fans or a hat & cane.  Once you decide what you would like to learn, Jo will discuss it with you in more detail and then structure your lesson accordingly.

These classes are for all levels, from complete beginners to professional performers who want to improve and add to their repertoire. 

Star Turn is ideally suited for individual tuition but up to 3 people can be accommodated in these classes. 

Whatever your reasons for taking this class, many of the glamorous “tricks of the trade” that you will learn are also designed to give you more confidence, a better body image and a greater appreciation of your feminine powers

The class is held in a private London studio. You meet Jo half an hour before the studio is booked so that you can get acquainted and go over any last minute details. You will then have 2 hours of practical tuition in the studio.

Your lesson can be arranged to start between 11am and 7pm, Monday to Saturday.
